Level up your nonprofit leadership and management skills!
The International Student House of Washington, DC, is proud to offer an eighteen-month “hands-on” training program opportunity designed to equip young aspirants to careers in the nonprofit sector with the skills and knowledge necessary to excel in nonprofit leadership roles in their countries of origin.
The program focuses on nonprofit management, leadership development, programming, resource management, operations, finance, crisis response, risk management, and intercultural understanding. This program aims to build the capacity and human capital of foreign nationals who have studied or worked in the U.S. so they may return to their countries of origin to build, strengthen, staff, and ultimately support and lead nonprofit organizations in their countries. The program seeks to develop and professionalize the human resource assets needed in developing countries that seek and/or receive U.S. government funding for the purposes of strengthening democratic institutions, upholding universal values, and promoting human dignity, as outlined in the 2022-2026 Joint Strategic Plan of the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Agency for International Development.
