Tangley Lloyd is a psychotherapist and trained mental health professional. Much of her work has focused on family and social dynamics. She also serves as the Chair of the Demarest Lloyd, Jr. Foundation, and has been an active Disaster Mental Health volunteer with the American Red Cross for many years. Tangley serves on the Advisory Board for the Brigham Hospital and is a member of the MGH Psychiatry Council. During COVID Tangley is able to connect with residents at ISH through TELEMED if they so choose.
Tangley is the granddaughter of Demarest Lloyd, the second and final private owner of 1825 R Street, NW: ISH’s main building. It was the Lloyd family which sold the house to the American Friends Service Committee for use as International Student House.
