Bahaa is the Founder and Chairman of the Horizon Group, a development and investment company with major projects in Jordan, Lebanon and Saudi Arabia. He is the eldest son of Rafik Hariri, the former Prime Minister of Lebanon. The recipient of a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Boston University, Bahaa is currently a member of its Board of Trustees. In 2010, he established the university’s Rafik B. Hariri Institute for Computing and Computational Science & Engineering. He is also a member of the International Advisory Board of the Atlantic Council and inaugurated its Rafik Hariri Center for the Middle East in 2011.
