International Student House is pleased to invite you to a workshop specifically for ISH Resident Scholars!
Refining Your Presentation Skills Workshop
-with-
Deborah Hefferon, ISH Board Associate
The 2-hour workshop will include sharing, practicing, and learning in a comfortable, safe and fun environment!
This interactive workshop is designed for those new to speaking before multinational audiences as well as for those who have lots of experience. The main focus will be thinking on your feet – staying cool and confident under pressure (getting to the point, facilitating effective Q&A, the secrets to giving impromptu presentations, how to assess audiences’ expectations and interests, how to make presentations interactive, and more).
Improving your public speaking skills will benefit your presentations in the U.S./global classroom, at conferences, on the job, and making small-talk in social situations.
