is pleased to invite you to an informal discussion on
Although still a minority in U.S. national security circles, women are holding increasingly important positions in both government and non-governmental sectors devoted to defending and strengthening U.S. hard and soft power in the world. From the White House National Security Council to the State Department, Pentagon and the arms control community, women are contributing to and implementing policy in ways that reflect a diversity of interests and perspectives.
Please join us for a discussion with Kelsey Davenport of the Arms Control Association, Mary DeRosa of Georgetown Law School and Bernadette Meehan of the Obama Foundation about their experiences in the national security field and views on current challenges to U.S. global influence. Barbara Slavin, ISH Board member and director of the Program Committee, will moderate.
